... can relate how one feels by losing a part of one's existence ... n such titles do remind one of good and bad times...

Dear Dad is a story of the relationship between a father and his son and a man with his family. Dad goes on a road trip to explain his 14 year old son (that's why he has a mustache.. cos' he is going through puberty) why he is getting a divorce from Dear Mum. The film blends a coming of age story with the layered complications and dynamics of a familial relationship and also a very political and human element that is added to the mix as the "secret".

SPOILER ALERT:

The Dad is gay and finally decided to come out. How is that going to affect the family he ALREADY has for so many years in relation to the new family he might build in the future provided his son still understands the situation.
