Great idea, thanks for the video. Just small technical note - actuall pallet height is 5" and not 5 cm. Otherwise great model! Thumbs up!

Talking about pallet stacking, it's useful to point out that if the boxes aren't uniform in HxWxL (e.g.not 30x30x30 cm, but 40x25x50, for instance), it's practically better to go for a bricklaying scheme, which is a natural way of strenghtening the ready pallet structure. Any warehouse packer would intuitively do that; it is possible to achieve that by mixing "Option 1" and "2" in the results. May not be the top efficient way, but if the boxes get heavier, that's what you probably be going into, for stability's sake. Nothing like an efficiently 95% packed pallet which goes sideways on unloading at the client's/your warehouse because the foil can't hold it in place during transportation (:

Hi, what if I don't stack the boxes on pallets but directly on the container floor and I stack boxes with different dimensions...how do I calculate loading capacity then?

Also regarding container cost..are you referring to freight charges?
