2014 Moon Druid was literally unkillable at higher levels.

2024 Moon Druid is a lot more balanced.

2014 Druid can turn into a snake. 2024 Druid can turn into a wise-cracking spell-casting snake as many times as he has spell slots. I think I know which I prefer.

Missed opportunity to note 2024 druid breaks tradition and can technically wear metal armor. No prohibition. Not taboo. No "preferred not to". No restriction of any kind mentioned.

Druids were Nerfed defensively but but Buffed on every single other way.

2014 missed a pun with the word "lopsided". Should have emphasized "lop" as it's a type of rabbit. (the basset hound of rabbits).

Why do I feel like in the case of the Warlock debate it will happen in one of two ways:

1) It will be incredibly agressive where they will agree on nothing

2) They will be gassing eachother up the entire time because they want what the other has/Are excited because what they desire is possible

I feel like people completely overlook how bad the new wildshape hp is. Yes you get damage buffs and can cast cure wounds while in wildshape, but a temp hp buff EQUAL TO OR 3 TIMES YOUR LEVEL is going to get eaten through really fast at higher levels.

Especially when you're turning into a big beast that enemies would logically want to target over the smaller enemies. Druids are going to get knocked unconscious so fast because their hit dice isn't suited for melee combat.

The wild-shaping CR is definitely true. But the best for 2014 is that you can be wild for any situation.

My problem with 2024 druid is that the conjure spells have become uninspired Spirit Guardians/Moonbeam clones, which also killed backwards compatibility with my favorite circle: The Shepard.

I'm hoping the Monk debate will be like a Kungfu movie or an episode of DBZ. Also really looking forward the Ranger debate too. I loved playing a ranger in my last campaign. How? Fighting style archery, Hunter subclass, Hunter's Mark spell., Colossus Slayer feature. I just had to wait for enemies to get the smallest amount of damage then I was putting them in the ground like Johnny Appleseed planting trees.

Ok so I need to re-read the 2024 Druid section…I got to “you can only pick 4 forms” and apparently my eyes were blurred with rage after that, and I missed…most of these changes. I remember none of this.
Also, “have you ever actually reached level 20?” May be the most DnD thing to ever DnD.

honestly looking at the druid changes, some of the new features are cool but not getting hp from creatures you turn into and having only like 4-8 wild shapes option just kills it for me. i really like moon druid and feel like the 2014 version looks way more netertaining
