Jet Li doing that Bagua Ritual is one of the most mesmerizing thing I ever saw. It transmits so much positive vibe .. there is something very auspicious in it, which I can not explain.

What I really love about this scene is not just how it establishes the characters. But its effect on the audience. With Yulaw it's attack, the thrill of the hunt. It is just you and your target. With Gabe, it is defense. You get feeling of tranquility and a sense of being more connected to your environment.

Seeing Jet Li films reminds me that he is a pure martial artist who just happened to be good at acting unlike Jackie Chan or Michelle Yeoh and even Bruce Lee who had an acting career at a young age. He came in with no experience and completely changed the view of martial artists in movies.
