Going back to a nine month old video is so pleasant. No jerky thumbnail and title. A normal guest that is relatable and not some characture. This is what made me join this channel.

So glad that I am part of a generation that has access to this kind of content before I even get the chance to screw myself over ~ Sincerely, A Teenager

She’s the most reasonable guests. I think it’s hard to realize that she needs more income.

She is such a sweet lady. Seriously this was heart warming. She got into a crappy situation because for decades all people did was push degree's on people, and charge too much. Really its sad, but she has a way out, and she wasnt combative, this was awesome.

150K in student loans for a job that pays 52K. Yikes.

You're the only Youtuber I've seen who makes it clear that buying a $300+ dollar watch is a _want._ Looking out for your audience, Caleb!

Seeing some frustration with her not committing to a second job but remember she is so much more honest than the guests who say yes when they clearly won't make a change

She is definitely hypnotized by the "We're a family" at her workplace. It does suck leaving when you like your workplace and what you do, but making enough money to survive is more important.

To all the kids out there - Take care of your gen ed classes at community college, finish the bachelor's at an in state school. Work while you go to school. Cash flow it. In nearly 20 years in my career the number of people who have asked me where I went to college is exactly zero. I know there are exceptions. But hardly any employer cares. Don't go into debt for a college experience. It's not worth it. You will regret it.

She should tutor kids after school as a second job. Even homeschool families would pay for this.

I am the same age as her, in my mid 20’s I had almost as much debt as her… buckled down and paid it all off in 2.5 years. Didn’t eat out on my own dime, didn’t buy a single thing I didn’t 100% need. My family would bless me with gift cards and such for my birthdays and that’s how I bought some clothes and beauty products. Now I just entered my 30’s debt free and ramping up my retirement + savings. Just wanted to share it is possible! There is life outside of this! Stay positive, humble & consistent.

Girl, if you're reading this, my mom has the same degree and she started a creative writing workshop and over like 10 years grew it into several classes she teaches. It's not livable money but it's extra that you are so qualified to teach! And of course you can base that around your two jobs!

I have a note taped to my credit card that’s says “why possibly?!” And it’s helped immensely 😂 thank you Caleb!

I started watching this dude’s videos about two months ago. In that time I have paid off over $2000 worth of debt. My credit score has gone up over 70 points. I have an actual savings account now and I’ve opened up a Roth IRA as well as a 401(k). This dude has seriously changed my life. My only piece of advice is to not wait until your late 20s like I did to get an actual grip on your finances. Thanks for everything you’re doing Caleb.

If I was in her shoes, I would be moving back in with mom and dad for a couple more years AND working on the side to attack that ridiculous debt asap. Her debt is going to prevent her from actually living and enjoying the best years of her life.

Colleges/students should be mandated a free finance class explaining student loans, interest rates, and ROI before being able to go into student debt

Hey Caleb, suggestion; maybe show them how long it will take to pay off their debt without a second job (to compare).
You told her, with a second job bringing an extra 1k a month, it will take 6 years to get out of debt. She then was relieved and felt less pressure to get the job because it seemed not that bad. You could have shown her that with her current 300$ a month only, it would take her 27 YEARS!!! to pay it off.

The 6 years is "not that bad" because effort is put in now.

I’m kind of worried about her but she’s the exact kind of people that non profits take advantage of to under pay. Just because you love something doesn’t mean it’s worth your financial and future health.

Caleb I’m actually in a good financial position with my wife (and no kids) but even then these videos have given me a push, I redid my budget (which I hadn’t done for 5 years) and realised how much we spend on BS. So this isn’t just for people who are in debt!

Believe me, a 30 year old cannot possibly know how they will feel about retirement when they are 60.
