Differences: UConn tied them on the backboard and made free throws (Kentucky blocked six shots, but in turn the Huskies only got to the line 10 times). Kentucky made theirs in this game, and performed just like us in the title game (missed 11). Another thing, UConn's guards were active at boxing out (we were too reserved to letting Harrell and the other big guys box out), AND they executed better on possessions late in the shot clock.

Why anyone would want to play for Pitino amazes me....Russdiculous WAS Louisville's best option not Hancock.  For Pitino to kinda hang him out to dry on that by not at least compliment Russ for his effort, and even went so far as to bring up "it wasn't the best shot", which just didn't need to be said at that moment.  Ricky doesn't think about anyone else.  He is too interested in making himself look better.  Pitino will see just how much he will miss him next year....Hancock can shoot, but in late game situations where a shot may have to be created, Smith is ten times quicker, and better in the clutch.  BTW, if Cauley-Stein is in the line-up, Hancock gets even fewer looks by far.  Remember, he defends on the perimeter a lot.
