How on earth is it that a person is in possession of stolen government documents and is not immediately arrested..? How is it not that simple..? Arrest him.. he has US Government documents..no “special treatment”…

Disclaimer and Trigger warning: This video contains copious amounts of truth and common sense. These values have been found to break what ever Trump supporters used to think with.

As a former real estate agent myself, even I know that "shall" = "must" in legal parlance. Is this really the best legal team Trump could get?

I was once a municipal code proofreader back in the days before computers, and my job depended on knowing that "shall" meant "must". There were serious legal implications if I made a mistake.

Wouldn’t it be just perfect karma if Cannon gets swept up in the indictments for trying to obstruct the DOJ in her own courtroom by her opinions and rulings??

Someone needs to remind that Judge of Rev. Martin Luther King, Jr.'s famous quote "Injustice any where is a threat to justice every where"

Of course those lawyers know. They're grasping at straws.

What gets me are those who pretend that they don't know this is like a game. They're stalling. I just don't understand what they hope to achieve.

I’m more worried about the documents that are still missing!

If this wasn't so serious, it might have been good material for a late night comedy show. DT is convinced he is still president and still runs the DOJ.

When you scrape the bottom of the barrel at the thrift store for lawyers, one shouldn't be surprised that they would draft such inane arguments

In that case, the second amendment says “SHALL not be infringed” not “MUST not be infringed.” I wonder if they would agree on that one.

When I first heard the line "Canada probably feels like they live in an apartment above a meth lab right about now"...I laughed. It's not funny anymore

In high school I took a legal secretary training course. One of the first things the instructor taught us is that shall means must in legal terminology. That’s how fundamental this is. Even an entry level legal secretary knows shall means must.

On the meaning of "shall" in US law, anyone recall this:
"A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, *shall not* be infringed."

Presumably, those suggesting that "shall" is advisory only acknowledge that the Second Amendment does not prevent the passing of laws that prohibit private ownership of weapons.

Sad, the judge probably had to break open a dictionary to explain to the defense, what a third grader would know.

Trump lawyers - "I request to remove the evidence from the court"
Judge - "on what grounds?"
Trump lawyers - "It's devastating to my case!"

Does NOT deserve a "Special Master". No OTHER citizens get that. LOCK HIM UP ALREADY!

We've heard Snowden talk for years about how trial under the espionage act doesn't allow defense and at the same time we're watching Trump accused of the same thing getting catered to here.
