Lori Loughlin 2 months, Felicity Huffman 2 weeks, yeah, that sounds about right. Our great justice system for celebs and the rich.

We should begin to jail the rich criminals. Don't let them get away. Let the poor out who can't even post bail and the rich in without bail or bond.

Our country is so corrupt now. God help us all.

Love how money makes wealthy people just stupid. "I thought bribery was above board." LOL They knew exactly what they were doing. Can you imagine what it would feel like to be their child? To know that you weren't good enough on your own that your parents had to buy your spot into college? Such a shame that people identify with money so much that they lose touch with reality. And how come the coach is getting off so easily when he's the mastermind?

The issue that media refuses to deal with is that the universities go along with this, have been doing so for so long time, and will continue to. Universities are as rich, powerful and corrupt as any corporation, and too big to fail, so it's all being pinned on one man with a few celebrities. This story, which only came out as the result of information revealed during an unrelated investigation, illustrates the meaningless of the phrase "good schools."

You used the word 'ensnared' when describing what occurred to the parents trying to pay to get their children in, yet nothing i've read shows entrapment, which is a synonym for ensnare and is a legal defense that one can use to prove the police illegally entrapped you. was this an accidental poor choice of words, is there evidence of entrapment, or was this purposeful doublespeak made up whole-cloth to downplay the crimes of the parents?

Hmm, funny.
Robert McNamara attended Berkeley for $53.00 / year and went on to be the President of Ford Motor Corporation and The Secretary of Defense.

I’m certainly glad there is no greed or corruption in our nation’s educational system……..

We all like to blame the “privileged” which I 100% agree with, but why isn’t anyone holding these schools accountable? They clearly knew and are playing dumb now that they’re caught.

They need to cap these "Contributions" all across the board or be investigated over a certain amount you know like taxes.

This wasn't shocking and I guarantee you every politician does the same thing.

The guy wanted to me few dollars. Unfortunately he is not a politician to steal millions from people and corporations through pay to play schemes.
