Trip to Oriomo

In 2019 after spending Christmas in Daru Island, I decided to travel to Oriomo with families from my village (Iamega). It was a 4 hours trip from Daru to Oriomo on a 55 horsepower Engine. That was a first trip to Oriomo after 2004 when I left home as a kid. Going back to Oriomo brought back my childhood memories of life spent along the mighty Oriomo river and the life I left behind at my home village. It was a great trip as it helped me to reconnect with my roots after 16 years being away from home.
