Hey nolls! Thank you so much for clicking on this video.

In this video I share with you all what it is like to be a female in engineering. I am a mechanical engineering student at Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology and the amount of girls relative to boys is significantly lower. Lol. Hopefully you all enjoyed.

In the same boat. There are only 3 girls in the ME major at my school, most are civil. I have two classes where I am the only girl out of 30ish, and several with less than 5 out of 30. Weird feeling indeed. Even if no one singles you out, you still feel like everyone is singling you out.

I’m also a mechanical engineering student & I agree with what your saying . I’m definitely one of the only girls in my classes & a lot of guys are dicks ranging from peers to professors . It’s sad, but the world is changing . ✊🏾 Keep going .

Hy, I'am engineer, fresh graduate from mechanical engineering major University of malang,
And now I have trying to apply some job on mechanic position, and I think why it's going so dificult for woman to get an interview call, but it's ok. I'll keep try and try so hard to apply for this position, 'cause I'm proud to be an engineer, and I believe that woman can be an engineer too. Keep spirit! 😍

I've never witnessed female engineers in the industry feeling inferior to the men. In my experience, the women do fairly well and are very respected. And of course, for either gender you get your "fake it till you make it" people. They get flushed out.
