Can you picture a female in the role of an engineer? Today 14% of engineers are women. Toys for girls are available to get them into engineering projects at an early age.

Corrine is an 8th grader at Treasure Mountain Junior High in Park City, Utah. She has embraced her interest in engineering.

See Debbie Stirling TedX Talk, who is inventor of Goldie Blox toys. Debbie was encouraged to go into engineering as college major by a female teacher. Nice that Debbie is passing that along and helping to encourage young girls like Corrine. I hope Corrine can be a future engineer.

The STEM field is very diverse...the problem is the vast number of Indian and Asian women and men in STEM strangely don't seem to count? Notice, not all..but most of the time it's a white woman complaining there's not enough "women" in STEM.
