On October 14th Adobe Released the Generative Extend Tool in Premiere Pro 2025 Beta. This tool uses Adobe Firefly technology to make clips longer by up to 2 seconds. Additionally, it allows you to extend audio up to 10 seconds.

For a first version, it's pretty insane. Will probably be pretty perfect in a year or two.

These things can be a life saver. I had recently a job where I needed to animate a still in runway and let a small group walking for a second. Get to akool to swap the original faces back on as runway morphed them odly. Than I had to upscale it as runway only made it available in 1280x720.
