Example 7.7 Linear visco-elasticity of orthotropic laminated composite with Abaqus UMAT

In Example 7.7, to simulate linear visco-elasticity of orthotropic materials, we program the constitutive equations into a UMAT, available on my Website. See example 7.4 in the textbook to learn how to calculate, using MATLAB, the visco-elastic properties of the lamina in terms of the properties of the fiber and matrix. In this example, we use the visco-elastic properties of the lamina to simulate a visco-elastic laminate [0/90_8]s.
