I picked Love Elixir and Madwoman. Excited to read them both. Enjoyed The Wedding People from last month

I finally had my first big box of the year this month. I got Phantasma because the gothic horror game vibes are right up my alley, especially with fall and Halloween coming up. I'm excited for it! I also did God of the Woods and The Seventh Veil of Salome as add-ons. Finally, I also got Issue 3 of Volume 0 of their short stories.

Honestly though, The Elixir book, Blue Sisters, and Madwoman all sounded good too, and I added them to my TBR. It was a good month for me. The Crimson Crown is on my TBR, as well as Vilest Things, but I want to get the regular hardcover of that one because it's a little different.

Hi - I loved that BOTM dropped a bit early - maybe due to the Labor Day weekend. I bought Blue Sisters early as I wanted the UK cover - it's a good book. I chose Madwoman but have Sleep Tight on my radar. I'm a big thriller reader but the horror tag made me pause. Not that I don't read horror but I'd like to hear some reviews first.

I said I was only going to get one book. I got 5: Madwoman (main pick), All the Colors of the Dark, Sleep Tight, Phantasma, and Crimson Crown.

It’s weird, nothing really gripped me at first viewing, aside from the new Liane Moriarty, but I sat on it for a day. The more I delved into the picks, the more my box filled right up. 😂

I ended up with “Sleep Tight”, “Madwoman”, “Phantasma” (a big gamble but I love gothic horror, books set in New Orleans, and creepy mansions so I really couldn’t pass it up), “Here One Moment”, and “Volume 0: Issue 3”.
