Please do a video on Gobekli Tepe and how they have decided not to excavate it any further. They also planted trees on top of the ruins. What are they hiding? This needs more attention. Thanks

C.S. Lewis had a great term for this. He called it chronological snobbery, defined as "an argument that the thinking, art, or science of an earlier time is inherently inferior to that of the present, simply by virtue of its temporal priority or the belief that since civilization has advanced in certain areas, people of earlier periods were less intelligent."

The one thing I have always admired about Russel. Is his vocabulary. He is such a great example of how Britain used to be. Almost everyone no matter social class had a vast vocabulary and used it correctly.

Funny how they say the Stonehenge builders were primitive, but say the Zimbabwe ruins builders were sophisticated.

No matter the decade, the century, or the milennia, brilliant people have and will always exist. To believe otherwise is idiocy.

As an Aussie I am not allowed to say I don’t believe our indigenous peoples can be 60k years old… it’s racist to question these matters for some reason? Thanks for asking the question Russell 😊

This is the content we need from you. The current spiritual deficit on our planet doesn’t need misplaced trust and division. It needs mindfulness and understanding, despite differences. Politics never helped anyone in all honesty.

It would take something very special to make me want to drag a 6-ton rock over hundreds of miles of forest, mountain, marsh, mud, rivers... etc. I can't even imagine what that thing would be. Power? Money? God? If it was purely astronomical, why not choose one closer, why THAT rock specifically? The mystery of Stonehenge is wonderful. I'm happy it exists and I hope the mystery never gets solved.

The distance is baffling enough but what really gets me thinking is why was that stone deemed to be worth the effort.
