Don't get excited too much, many our movies just a soap opera or sexy ghost movie, I feel sick with those crap. But when this movie came out, it just like a fresh air for me, even though I hold my breath when watching it.

This is not about Kopassus (Indonesian army special force). This is about 20 cops who entered a building that occupied by criminals.

KOPASSUS, ever faced the britain SAS + the Gurkhas t+ commonwealth arm forces gang (australia +new zealand)in a real combat confrontation. rank no 3 the best small fire arms and hand to hand combat arm force of the world that is for sure!

Yeah well, maybe you right, lol. It would be lot easier for foreigners to see them that way, much more simple. What I meant that Indonesian Special Forces might have a quite different system with special forces you mentioned, even though of course they have few similarities. These guys are so skeptical about any kind of publicity, i guess Yayan Ruhiyan (Mad Dog) --Iko Uwais teacher, 'The Raid' martial art choreographer, and adviser of Indonesian President's guards-- persuade them so good, lols.

this form of martial art is a derivation from the traditional mystic art of SILAT. :)

I guess it suppose to be Densus 88, because the story line show that they're Indonesian Police Special Unit, so yea, Densus 88, but those actors trained by Kopaska (Indonesian Navy Special Force), might be Denjaka, but I'm not sure, coz so far, they're our most mysterious ghosts, lol. Kopassus is Indonesian Army Special Force. I wondering why they don't trained by Densus 88, well, maybe they just don't want their counter or anti-terrorism tricks come into spotlight.. you know what i mean.

no don't!! The Raid is just one of the few best in thousands of (crappy) Indonesian movie, I swear!! The Raid is the very least of Indonesian movie that I watch in 2 years, I'd rather betray my country for this particular part with watch Hollywood movie than my own country movies. But if there's a really amazing Indonesian movie, another one just like The Raid, I would love to watch it. So don't!! You scare me...

Noooo... lol, Kopassus aren't like Mossad or SAS. If it is police, Indonesian Police Special Units are Densus 88, Brimob and Gegana. These actors trained by Kopaska, so they must be 'having' skills in the same level as Kopaska (Navy), or yea, Kopassus (Army), soo i guess.. it's Densus 88! Handling terrorists and gangsters. Brimob and Gegana, well, so far, specified for riots, i guess. These days, they upgrade Indonesian policeman become soldier. That's the fact.
