I'm glad to see that after 30 years this village is still safe and thriving.

I don't know that I could ever afford to travel, but I wish I could travel to here! If I had money, I would want to come to help offer them support in some way. To help them to help save more young girls by getting them to school, to help them in some way to make their lives greater. They are so strong. I also do worry about the boys who must leave when they come of age, and I worry and wonder about them. I always have for years, ever since I first learned of this village. I wish I could connect to them in some way! Thank you for sharing this interview and for all you are doing, and I hope your life in Kenya remains beautiful and full of joy! ❤

I would love to see a documentary on the boys after they have grown up in this village. I wonder if they are able to influence their society to fight for womens rights.

Please know that genitalia, whether from a boy or a girl, is made perfekt and complete.Only adults (18 +) should modify their bodies, should they so choose. Please protect the boys as well.

Did Rebecca say that they circumcise the boys still?

You cant fight FGM without involving well intentioned men. Fight the demand and supply of circumcised girls on the same battle front.
