Bruce's kicks came from French Savate, as shown and named in Tao of Jeet Kune Do. Ive also gone through the French manuals Bruce Lee wouldve studied.

I have been training taekwondo for a long time and let me tell you that if you want to practice this type of kicks you must stretch / warm up beforehand because you can hurt yourself very badly.
