The Sad, Funny Irony Of Mark Levin Freaking At An Atheist [AUDIO]

"Conservative radio host Mark Levin became enraged on Monday and hung up on an atheist caller who had suggested that presidential candidates should not have to believe in God.

During a radio segment flagged by The Right Scoop, a caller said that he was disappointed that Levin continued to "perpetuate the myth" that religious faith was a prerequisite for being a good leader.

"Oh, I forgot, I'm not supposed to mention faith or God," Levin interrupted sarcastically. "I've decided to bring it up because I'm sick and tired of us being told, 'Just tax cuts, don't bring up that other stuff. Oh, my God! Don't bring up God! For God sakes!' Right? Couldn't care less = I care so little that I literally can not care any less than I do.

So maybe Levine _was_ correct, and actually _does_ care about the stuff he's brokenly asserting he doesn't.

OOooh you could almost hear Levin's gears grinding when the caller corrected him, the best part though was Levin showing "his" intolerance by cutting the caller off and abusing him, very classy Levin..

Conservatives, and especially libertarians, are supposed to believe in the ideas of autonomy, freedom, personal responsibility, and self-reliance. Believing in an omnipotent dictator in the sky, who has to "save" you from your own actions, is the exact antithesis of what a libertarian is supposed to espouse. You cannot extol the virtues of independence and then laud the virtues of being a subordinate to a creature who has absolute power over you, and one that can also convict you have having the wrong thoughts. Hence, Judeo-Christian and Islamic beliefs are incompatible with true conservatism and libertarian philosophy. It amazes me how such an easy concept is lost on those who are self-proclaimed conservative and libertarian ideologues.

I like how he admitted it was a mistake, then realized that making that admission damages his persona of being a pseudo-intellectual, so then he says "you know what? it is could care less."

I would be surprised if this guy has read a single book that doesn't have large fonts or pretty pictures inside.
