Vlog time! Some news + a Q&A. I won't be answering any 'Will you do a song about this game' type questions so please don't clog the comments with those. The answer to all of those is 'maybe' ;)

Wow, some really good questions here guys. I may have to do a separate, second Q&A answers thingy in blog form to get around to all the ones I want to answer! I'll try & pick some good ones for my answers video & will link the extra blog answers on it :)

It will help avoid clutter if you upvote any questions you see that you also want answered, as opposed to asking it again yourself!

The reason I like you so much as an artist is that you're so approachable. You never put yourself above your fans, and you read and answer your comments. Hell, you even did an interview with a no name like myself. I have no ties to gaming or music media, no real credentials, and you took the time and effort to answer my questions. That is why you're awesome, and that's why I always try to promote you as much as I can. So thank YOU for not only making great music, but also for being such a great guy in general.

1. Why you started making a songs on YT? What, or who inspired you?
2. Why this type of songs? I mean movies, games songs? Why aren't you making songs not compared with games and movies?
And of course: CONGRATULATIONS!!! You are awesome, keep rocking :)

I really don't have a question for you, more of a "Thank you." When I was going through high school here in america I was a very lost child and I always went to music for a way to escape (Mostly nirvana and david bowie, but that's neither here or there) But around my second year of high school I discovered your music and songs like kickback and hammers in my head helped so much with giving me the push to make it through high school and I just wanted to tell you more than anything thank you. Thank you for always providing kick ass songs and inspiring me to keep going and to always face my challenges with bravery and tenacity. Keep on rocking!

1. How long does it take you to make a song? Any examples of which took extra long or someone which were very easy?
2. How do you pick which games to choose from? Do you look at where the hype lies or do you just pick games you personally like/Find interesting?
3. Do you prefer to make game-songs or songs that are non-game related? Like Amnesia or Kickback?

Congratulations dude, keep rocking on.
A question I want to ask is, how do your friends or peers respond to finding out you make music in the fashion you do?

Say Gav, I've always been in awe at your ability to write so many different types of songs.
Is there a type of song that you've always wanted to make but haven't found a game that fits the style yet?

Question: My family sadly isn´t all to wealthy. But my dad has his 64th birthday very soon. I hope it isn´t too much to ask but he loves good vintage wine and I got all this water here... Would you mind, Jesus?

Congrats on 100 million well-deserved views.
Loads of possible questions, but I suppose the main ones are:
What makes you revisit certain songs (e.g. New Black Gold and Hard Cash)?
Are there any genres you're completely against producing? It seems like you've tried your hand (successfully) at most things now.
Who produces the videos for your videos? Ones like Lady of Worlds (and especially the one for the Metro Last Light colab you did with Dan Bull) are really well done. Is that something the game creators make, do you do them yourself or do you outsource them?

I can't think of a good question, Gav, but I do want to say you're a super cool dude who makes super cool music! You're also a huge part of how I got into metal, so thanks for that. Keep on keepin' on.

Do you find singing in other languages an exciting albeit consuming thing to do? Examples go both ways, with Gaelic in "Sirona" and "Grainne Mhaol", and French in "My Revolution" and Wenja in "Kana".

Well done Gav. You deserve every one of those views. My question is: what's your favourite game and/or game genre and why?
