South Ionian Flotilla Sailing 2017

Sailing on a flotilla with Sailing Holidays Ltd in June 2017, with a modern twin-wheeled Beneteau 35 yacht "Gaia". A good trip with some great sailing winds at times. Good company too, not least the dolphins! (Which can be seen in more detail on another video).

We started and finished at Sivota (Lefkas island) and visited Meganisi, Kalamos, Kefalonia, Ithaca and Kastos, as well as the Greek mainland.

The Ionian is busy with yachts these days, but still a beautiful area to sail in - and going outside peak season avoids the worst of the crowds.

Just watched all your ‘Sailing Holidays (SH)’ videos over the course of the last few days, and enjoyed them and the memories we have of those holidays. We first embarked on our first in 2012 and our last was 2023 with SH. As much as we had a great time and often did it twice a year, including 3 week delivery trips - it is unlikely we will be doing it again as the value proposition has shifted and they are out of our affordabilbility comfort zone.
