Thirsty SNAKE Drinks Water and Bites

Thirsty snake drinks water. I see a snake!
I give a thirsty snake a drink of water while herping and hunting South Carolina snakes. During a summer heatwave, wildlife needs water. This corn snake bite was not painful. The drinking corn snake shows that wild animals need a little help sometimes. Corn snakes are non-venomous and are in the rat snake family. Recorded near Charleston, South Carolina on a herping and snake hunting trip.
Corn snakes are common pet snakes.

I love how the snake immediately stopped trying to attack you once it realized you weren't a threat and only wanted to help it.

I love how he gently offered a cap of water out for the snake, and when it recoiled and drew itself in he seemingly just went "Okay here" and wrangled him into accepting it 😂😂😂
