Great watch. Ive had one about 5 years and while i dont wear it every day, i do get compliments every time I do. Reading it in low light can be a bit tricky, but under most circumstances, its not an issue. I love having it on and just admiring it because it looks so cool.
Also, this watch DOES have a screw down crown

Other than the lume
Being all but non existent. I love mine, once you get used to it, it’s not to bad to read as long as there is light.
Yours may not have a screw crown, mine definitely does.

I always enjoy your reviews because you do not mince your words. Kudos to you. I recently picked up this watch and like it very much. I made my choice based on two different issues. First I wanted an Eco - Drive. Secondly, I wanted an all black time piece. Like you, I tend to be be more focused on function. However, this time was was a bit vain and frivolous )))

I absolutely love mine, have had it for many years. Low light performance sucks but other than that, black on black can go with anything. (The lume works only well after direct sunlight performance)

Totally agree with you. I have the original gmt flightmaster which is perfect. I've friends allover the planet and my fiancee is in the USA so I have started collecting GMTs, as I use them.

I bought this watch about a month ago and I will tell you why: I do a lot of photography at night and it's mostly done in black and white. I needed a watch that would match the color scheme of my clothing. Black T-shirt, black long sleeve dress shirt, black dress shoes and I wanted a watch that would go along with the aesthetics that I was aiming for in my photos. I do wear it during the day and I might wear it today since it needs some of that Florida sun to charge it up some. But anyway, I'm happy with the watch and yes, it is a bit difficult to see at night and the lume is not all that great but for what I am using it for, it is perfect for me :)

You are correct…..first watch I’ve owned …. Where if someone ask you what time it is and you’re in dim light…. you have to tell them you don’t know😂🤣😱🤔

Also…..i put a really bright flashlight right on the crystal for a few seconds and it glows really bright for a few minutes…. My flashlight on my phone or a lamp in the house will not work ….. but the led flashlight on the Crystal does
