Watching Kino Loy go from being a composed and dominating prison floor manager, to just another scared prisoner was an amazing transformation. Just another reason why Andor is one of the best star wars shows ever made!

The acting, and writing in this show is phenomenal. Every one associated with this show should be proud.

That "I can't swim." Was a well placed last second gut punch 👊

The very end of the episode:
"How many guards per level??"
"Never more than 12"

Anyone who’s worked in an Amazon warehouse or factory knows this character exactly. Floor managers can be your worst nightmare or your best friend

Kino Loy is a Brilliant Character. His Turn from just another Prisoner doing what He's told into A True Rebel Inspiring all The Other Prisoners and That Line where He said "Never more Than 12" Was Just brilliant writing. And When He said "I Can't Swim." was just so Heartbreaking. Andy Serkis' Performance was Absolutely Phenomenal He Deserves all The Praise for This Role. In 3 Episodes Kino Loy became One Of My Favorite Characters In All Of Star Wars.

I simply don't understand people who say this show is very slow paced as a criticism. It's legit perfect when it comes to pacing. Not too fast, not too slow. Just enough time to actually get to know some characters. Kino Loy is a perfect example. At first meeting, he seems like a pro empire pet dog who takes advantage of his position. Now we learn that he's not really a pet dog who does what he's told. He gives a shit about the men that come under him. He simply doesn't show it too often. He's just another inmate who the Empire wouldn't hesitate to fry just to keep a secret in. It's good writing. Not that we haven't seen anything like this ever before nor is the best series in the world but it's still good!

It definitely shows how good the writing and acting is when they can show this much character development in just 2 episodes. And Kino doesn’t have that much screen time either in those 2 episodes!

I instantly recognised him as a leader. He wants his man to perform, so they all come through, because he cares. And for that role he has to be hard. The same vibes you get from good NCOs for example.
The fact that the actor transported that in the small screentime is phenomenal.

People who don't watch this show are seriously missing out.

He knew the only way out was by swimming away and he couldn’t swim. In the end he helped his fellow inmates to escape knowing he could never leave alive. He just wanted to give them the best chance he could. Heartbreaking really

My favorite: Andor optimizes the table workflow, Kino Loy happy🤗; Andor keeps asking about prison logistics, Kino Loy 😾😒😾

Kino had more character development in 2 episodes in 2 weeks than Rey in a whole trilogy in 5 years

I love how good it felt when Andor kept asking how many guards there were on each level and he kept saying to just keep working and finally at the end he said "Never more than 12." It felt like trying to break a brick wall and finally it broke and he finally answered the question.

Andy Serkis is great. Appears in LotR/The Hobbit, Marvel and now Star Wars.

I like how he knows all about the hand signals and prison levels and number of guards. I have a feeling he was once an "Andor" type and they made him the shift manager to stop his instigating further.

He was so determined to help Olaf. You could tell that he was truly heartbroken when he died.
