The Guelph Institute for Environmental Research (GIER) hosted the webinar Diverse Perspectives on Knowledge Mobilization on Wednesday, February 10, 2021.

Our panelists were Caroline Duvieusart-Dery, Tommy Mayberry, and Georgia Simms. We had the pleasure of having Dr. Hannah Harrison moderate the session.

Webinar description: We have long known that we need to mobilize research knowledge more creatively if we wish to tackle 'wicked' environmental problems and put research into practice. Increasingly siloed disciplines, a disconnect between arts and science, and a lack of engagement and equity in academia and society jeopardize our capacity to collaboratively respond to environmental crises in a creative, innovative, and equitable way. This webinar brings fresh and novel perspectives on knowledge mobilization to enrich environmental conversations.
