What I love about Youtube is constantly discovering new, amazing players, from all around the world. Matteo is an amazing player, and has completely restored my faith in the next generation of incredible fusion/jazz players. This is my transcription of his take on Charlie Parker's "Donna Lee."

Good Lord! I just stumbled on this kid browsing a Strat forum. Never even heard of him until 15 minutes ago. I'm still not sure I believe what I just heard and saw. First video was his three piece band, complete with an amazing bass player doing Weather Report "Havona" live. It's like I know right where he's going gets there! I don't think he's even breathing hard. This is truly remarkable.

Simply amazing technique and incredible finger-style speed. I did not see/hear the "emotion" in the phrasing because Matteo's face was not visible. Thank you for sharing this inspirational video.

Guthrie Govan was the best guitarist of the decade, but I think its now time to pass the torch and pass that title to Matteo. Mancuso is such a complete player....technical ability, impeccable phrasing, taste, feel, timing. He has it all.
