Halfway through this short video, I realized that this is a principle for life, not just gardening. As a 60-year gardener, I'll admit that this little video is life changing. It's so clear, simple and applicable. Good job, mister.

This was our first year in raised beds with germinated seeds we where so used to losing half our plants every year since raised beds and good compost we over grew how many we thought we’d need this year since every other year previous we’d lose half our plants lesson learned

This man is the only one I have seen on youtube who uses burlap plastic ground cover (landscaping fabric) properly. Fillbillies and Frednecks here in FL regularly use it as weed barrier, right up close to the foundation. All to save a few bucks a roll. I have torn out this stuff under stone and mulch lays with massive weed gardens anchoring into the weave.

Thank you for this. We bought a home a year ago and from day one i have been trying to create a permaculture environment, we brought all our animals over immediately and tried to implement all the systems in the first year. Lol

Agreed, horticulture is all about slow progress with improvements, once you get where you want to be then scale production.
That and working with people in the field a new perspective can go a long ways.

Yes, and don't be afraid to make mistakes.

I wish there was a common sense hard working sower of seeds running for president.
Every country needs one or one million. 🏆🌲🌿🍀

Sweet edit mate !. If someone invents weeds that are useful . . . they would stop being weeds.

Agreed, trying to do too much too fast is how you get royally burnt out of gardening or horticultural study

Then if you're savy you can plant weeds that feed you like Purslane...Nettle..or medicinal like Prickly lettuce..Thistle

Just curious what everyone thinks and their thoughts you included Mathew.
What kind of wood do you use for your raised beds cheap or high end?

I gave each plant in my garden its own piece of copper and nothing in my garden is growing slow! Or small!
I know now to space my plants out more if I'm going to put copper in the garden. Its wild!
