A big-picture approach to federal decision-making

On January 20th, the next president takes office. S/he will have to make plenty of hugely consequential decisions right away. The federal community wants to make the transition between administrations as smooth as possible -- from the commander in chief on down.

Last week, the Partnership for Public Service and the IBM Center for the Business of Government published a new report. Its goal: Help leaders make smart and timely decisions.

Tom Fox, vice president for leadership and innovation at the Partnership for Public Service, discussed the report with Government Matters.
