@UltimateRT It's a phone. You can select what to focus on. It's still autofocus that way, and it's unnecessary for a phone to have manual focus.

@98Flynn its because the phone only has a single core processor you need 2 cores to get to 1080p

@GJanee nice to know, thanks for the info.

I am so ready for this to come out Sunday..!!!

@MrPhantom19 It's a single-core processor which does not have the possibility to render it to 1080p. The megapixels in the camera has nothing to do with it. 3.2 mpix cameras can record 1080 if they have a processor powerful enough.

@bono5112 I'm considering moving over to WP7 myself. Do u miss the customization abilities of android though? (Widgets, live wallpapers, launchers etc)

@MrPhantom19 It's because the CPU is too slow to capture the frames fast enough. It's an old scorpion chipset.

@30s30 Windows Phone is optimized for single core and it runs extremely fast on single core

@bono5112 I've actually never met someone who's used windows phone (wp7 onwards)...the os looks good but i have to ask, does it still feel god and edqy after say 3 months. how does it handle from day to day?

@MrPhantom19 if u were smart u would know that u need a dual core processor for any phone to record at 1080p, and 720p is just as good and takes up less memory, and windows OS doesn't need a dual-core processor

@GJanee I was just expecting a new windows phone with a dual-core processor. i completely agree with what you are saying, in fact my brother owns the HTC TITAN and it does work like a charm.

@30s30 well yeah, everyone's expecing that, but i think, that only when the gaming platform part of the os requires it, will they turn to using dual core chipsets.

@98Flynn You only need like 2 megapixels for HD video. Its eather a limitation in WP7 but probably the CPU :-)

@TheShammies N8 supports just 720p witht every firmware. Though, for that shameless half of a core processor it's a miracle that it can record so well

@98Flynn due to the single core processor. expect 720p to still have amazing quality though

@QAdeputy I wouldnt say i miss those abilities, WP7 has its own customizations, with my fav being live tiles, twitter and FB integration and so on. Why i will never switch back though is because of how the OS performs. It is so smooth and easy to operate, ive had it for almost a year and have never had a problem or freeze up with my phone and i have a 1st gen HD7. The 2nd gen phones are even better ive heard (waiting for upgrade). plus the metro design just blows away android.

Is it single-core b/c it's not as graphic-heavy ( at least in the UI sense) as say, a android or apple?
