Responding To Gino Jennings On Divorce And Remarriage

First things first I love Gino Jennings. I have listened to many of his sermons. So no disrespect here at all. I got nothing but respect for him.

1 Corinthians 7:15 - But if the unbelieving depart, let him depart. A brother or a sister is not under bondage in such cases: but God hath called us to peace. (not under bondage in such case)

Notice the exemptions or exceptions... very clear in scripture
Matthew 19:9 - And I say unto you, Whosoever shall put away his wife, except it be for fornication, and shall marry another, committeth adultery: and whoso marrieth her which is put away doth commit adultery.

Matthew 5:32 - But I say unto you, That whosoever shall put away his wife, saving for the cause of fornication, causeth her to commit adultery: and whosoever shall marry her that is divorced committeth adultery.

Notice how many angry "Christians" show up in the comments trying to throw stones. They didn't even listen to the teaching because if they did the truth would have set them free. They can't even see they are just like the people Jesus rebuked. All those pharisees who wanted to stone the woman.... nothing about them is like Christ. That's all you need to know. The Bible says you will know them by their fruit. Most of the folks throwing stones in the comments lack Bible knowledge and understanding and also have no fruit. I say this.... pray about it for yourself and study and seek God. Don't listen to people in the comments who don't know what they are talking about. Many of them are bitter and jealous. One thing about Pastor Jennings is that he isn’t bias nor does he add or take away from the Bible; which is why I respect him so much! It’s very hard to give up our fleshly desires and ways but spending hell in eternity will be harder. It’s hard to accept the truth but it doesn’t change the fact that it’s still the truth.

I've been divorced 7 years now and yes, I get lonely amongst other things.

I always questioned this remarriage thing and in April of 2020 as I was reading my bible God showed me it would be sin if I remarried.

I would like to have my marriage reconciled and I do pray about it all the time. If God brings my husband back great and if He doesn't so what. I would rather suffer a little while here on earth than loose my soul for eternity. There will be no marriage in Heaven or Hell.

My husband always teaches “sin is sin”. One person may have lied and someone else murdered someone. And in God’s eyes it’s THE SAME THING. No sin is greater or lesser than any other. As humans we think a murderer is worse than one white lie we told. It’s NOT. It’s the same thing in God’s eyes. Sin is disobedience to God.

Yeahh brother Gino speaks on alot of things that are very true. But he can be very radical about alot as well. His approach can come off very baptist religious style, rather than the spirit at times. He's still a solid teacher for the most part. But no one's perfect including him. Only the Lord is, which is why we ALL need him daily!

Marcus I was married twice. Marcus you were saved when you were married before. I was saved when I was married to my first husband. I divorced my second husband because I was convicted in my spirit that I was living on adultery. Marcus we both are wrong and you know it. Pray and ask God to reveal it to you. Not only pray about it fast and pray. You know better. I could tell by the way you were talking, you are dealing with it in your spirit. Love you Marcus. Brother Marcus ....your theology on marriage and divorce is incorrect . The holy scriptures gives us three ways to handle divorce .
1) Reconcile
2) Remain single
3) Wait until spouse die to remarry
The Holy Scriptures don't teach us to marry and divorce with numerous spouses . The Apostle Paul had issues with the church of Corinth because they thought like you . Your doctrine is absolutely wrong 💯 .
