As a Canadian ... seeing those tuition prices gives me sticker shock. Never considered studying abroad though, I didn't want ANY student debt, so I stayed home with my parents, its just convenient in Toronto we have 3 universities to choose from. I was able to pay off my tuition working part time as a barista. I can't imagine USD$80K of debt, that's over CAD$100K!

Aww Alex! I can so much feel how you felt. Being a broke student myself I needed to stay in the Netherlands all alone for Christmas. Luckily, there was one more student in the dorm and we spent a Christmas Eve together. I was sad but we still had a great time.

Hi Alex!! Just found your channel!! So many great tips outside of the actual tuition on how the day to day expenses may be lower! One thing I found is for graduate school going abroad was way cheaper for many of the masters programs here! In my field a lot of the programs are 2 years in the USA while abroad they are one year for the same degree!
