She actually has a really nice vibrato. She’s just belting in a really unhealthy placement, which makes sense because she’s definitely not trained. Those shitty mics weren’t doing her any favors either. If this is really what she wants to do, some acting and vocal lessons would go a really long way. Her and the Burr in this cast have a lot of great potential and could grow leaps and bounds with some actual training.

Okay yall needa stop hating on the cast. Hate the script and the play all you want, but these guys are just kids. I think this girl is a wonderdul singer. The belt may have sounded a bit but her voice didn't tremble and it was a very solid belt. The rest of the parts her voice is just lovely and she even manages vibrato. Obviously I roll my eyes at what's she's singing but you guys are all saying she sucks and I just don't see it. Plus, go easy on her, she's still a kid. And can we talk about that 'mind' and 'heart' because she DID eat that. And she enunciated her consonants.

I in no way support the making of this. But people are complaining about the singing when it isn't all that bad. They obviously aren't going to have the capabilities of a Broadway singers. They practice for many many hours to make sure their vocals, dance, and acting are perfect. They practice so they can perform 8 shows a week. Most people who aren't on Broadway aren't going to have Broadway quality.
