Hi Jason, how do you think this 14x50 Kite would compare to the Fujinon TSX1440? They are for marine use. I like the 6 degrees stabilisation on the Fujinons, and they have just been heavily discounted with extra $150 online cashback, but they seem a bit heavy for continued use on a rocky boat? Cheers

Recently bought the GPO 10 x 42 ED and live the view. How does the quality of the 18x50 view compare in terms of sharpness and contrast? I'm strongly considering them as a complementary pair to the 10x42 as distant eagle viewing bino's

Hello Jason I have some questions about buying the best light gathering binos on the market and what is required for them to gather the most light.(for future reference). Can you recommend those brands that claim to be the best at being able to see what moves at early dusk and dawn. For me that is the most important specification of any optics. Hi, thank you for the great review. On your page you list the 14x50 with the same dimensions as the 16x42.
But the kite website states 250mmx150mm for the 50s.
Can you confirm that the 50s have the same size as the 42s?

And another question. How effective is the IS on the 18x50 compared to the 14x50. I would assume noticeable more shaking on the 18x50.

I just bought the Kite Optics APC 18x50 Stabilized ED Binoculars (Li-Ion version), for Astronomy purposes (I ain't no birder or hunter! 😅).
