Michael Jordan is known for many things, from his skills on the court to the movie screen. His most well-known feat however is his collab with Nike on Air Jordans. Nike released a commercial in 1984 introducing the Air Jordans to the public, but they also introduced a HUGE LIE!

Of course, he wouldn't be wearing air Jordans because they were made after the fact. Why would they name a shoe after an athlete before he was signed on to advertise for them. It looks more like they saw Jordan getting fined for wearing The Air Ship shoes and rebranded them in response.

My theory on the shoe color is that white shoes are easier to follow in movement (most bright shoes are), that's the only reason I can think of and I still don't know why it'd be useful.

If someone have a real answer, that'd be interesting to know.
