Well, I got to HF at 7:45 this morning, and there was a bunch of cars. I parked and went straight to the door to be first in line. Everybody started jumping out of their cars and trucks to get in line. When they unlocked the doors, everyone made a bee line for the winches. The coupon for the sockets, you can get both SAE and metric for $14 each. I got the 12, 000 lbs apex winch, the 2 year service warranty, both sets of 1/2" deepwell impact sockets, and the Quinn 3/4" extension accessories with tax, under $587

I've used an electric log splitter very similar to the hf splitter. It works just fine... No it's not made to go split cords of firewood at a time, but, if you're like me and don't get it done while the weather is nice outside you can always use this inside the garage, or even right next to the wood stove where you don't have to freeze and hear a gas engine running.

My farher in law gifted me a HF log splitter. It has split everything i put in it. It has handled some 18" logs wirhout issue. I honestly haven't had it stall on me. Its a little awkward to use, laying down irs kinda short, but it has done everything I've asked of it.

I have had that log splitter for about 5yrs now. I am very satisfied with it, use it to split Eucalyptus and it works great!

I love the Central Machinery log splitter. I use it to break down the big pieces that get delivered that are way too big. Also for logs from trees that fell lots of trees here, plus I pick up logs left by people or tree trimming company. It worked great even when knots present. Make sure you check hydraulic fluid before using doesn’t come full and turn bleeder valve before using. Two handed operation stinks, my original one that lasted over 10 years not same brand but same style was one handed. Use a clamp on button and get foot pedal to make it one handed and one foot. Needs to be running to move and stopped to retract. Not as powerful or fast as a gas but for me it works fine, so far no issues.

I'm not surprised the big rotary tool is on clearance- it was an amazingly affordable little tool as long as you GOT THE EXTENDED WARRANTY and replaced at is soon as it went bad.😂

The Pittsburgh 3 ton jack on clearance is just the red one. It's been on the clearance page for over a year I'd bet. The slate gray ones aren't going away anytime soon, just those red ones, which I haven't found in stock anywhere near me.
