It's a Spanish extra virgin olive oil made from arbequina olives harvested on the very first day. Because they're harvested so early in the season, it takes twice as many olives to make the same amount of oil, and it has a particularly strong flavor.
This oil is very grassy, with buttery and fruity notes and a particularly peppery finish.
Castillo de Canena has been producing fine olive oils in Andalusia since 1780, so they know what they're doing. And this is their most special reserve.
