This is a really hollow discussion. Come on CBC, you can do better. Get a journalist who has real expertise in the subject talking to panelists who have real expertise. This is neither.

Here is the biography of Dr. Marcus Powlowski the Liberal MP one riding to the west of Patty Hajdu's riding: "Powlowski holds a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry and Medical Doctorate from the University of Toronto. He also holds a Bachelor of Law from the University of Toronto, as well as a Master’s Degree in Public Health (Health Law and Policy) from Harvard University and a Master’s Degree in Global Health Law from Georgetown University." (Wikipedia). Yet we have Hajdu, with zero medical education, not even a scientific education, as Health Minister. It's a real head shaker. Why Canadians are not ready to toss true dough to the curb is beyond me.
