LMAO Lisa was just over it. I think Lisa just out grew the group to be honest. I think she loved the group and had creative differences. Plus since Lisa is the creative one and emcee of the group it would be natural for her step out since she felt creatively stifled. Its great to be in a group but sometimes it can stifle your creativity when you have all these ideas that you can't express in the group. So its natural to separate yourself so you can create and express yourself. TLC will always be one of the greatest girl groups of all time.

I think Left Eye wanted to be taken seriously as an artist and as a rapper. I think T-boz and Chilli were okay with being silly because that was a part of the TLC brand. I think Left Eye got tired of it around this time

Lisa was messing with their bag she’s a Gemini and wasn’t getting her way while in the group so she wanted to go solo. Wish she understood she could’ve had both just release between TLC breaks it’s worked for other groups but there obviously weren’t any blueprints prior to her. TLC the brand was their bread and butter so much was riding on their image that she was part of which is why the group hasn’t been the same since her passing. Her presence is seriously missed!
