Legend! It unfroze my Garmin first try. Held the power button for 6 to 8 seconds.

It worked even when the screen is totally black and no response.. thank you!

My Edge 1030 Plus Garmin froze 1/4 way through my journey.Waited until I got home, pressed the power button a few seconds, it restarted (like in the video) I had the option to delete or save. By saving I got all my data saved for that journey.

Thanks, I couldn’t get my 1040 to turn on after being idle for 2 weeks. This reset worked to start it up again.
