Hi, I’m part of the staff/game team for Dudes Battlegrounds. Very nice to see someone check us out, with much better feedback than another YouTuber (they did not enjoy our game lmao).

Regarding your complaints/comments

1. We are constantly trying to refine combat, often replacing animations entirely to try to make it feel smoother, and introducing updated combat systems that hopefully make it feel less “clunky.” Obviously we’re not there yet, but I hope we do reach a very clean system soon.

2. Regarding ultimate time, I have forwarded the complaint to the owner and head developer to decrease the time taken by maybe around 30-40% if that sounds fine. I will possibly have to do a lot of rebalancing since the ultimates right now deal a LOT of damage in some cases.
Also the third A-Turbo ability is an ability that increases run speed and deals damage upon collision with a player/dummy

3. Funny story. A couple months ago we tried revamping the dash into a regular dash + punch, in order to make life easier for balancing (the combo potential with our current dash system is quite… punishing) but we ended up facing huge backlash from our community and dropped our player count from the then 500 ish players to under 200. Wasn’t a great experience and as a result I don’t think we plan n ever changing it (rip the unused animations)

Anyways thanks for reviewing the game, we update weekly at the moment and as a result we tend to release a character roughly every month or two, with two characters being a WIP at the moment, as well as a new system every few weeks (ranked elo system was revamped just last update!)

Dude, ragdoll battlegrounds gives back so many memories. I used to play that in around 2016-2017 for hours on end and it was so fun and good for its time. This was a good throwback!

Guys, Ragdoll Battlegrounds is an inspiration from the OG game. Due to the original Ragdoll System Test game losing players and having major bugs without the owner being online. The RST community created a new game with a bigger map and bug fixes. I wouldn't call it a COPY COPY, but it has the same idea
