Allstate accidentally canceled my insurance for six months. My son bought a car and I put his car on my insurance, I never asked them to cancel the insurance on my other car but they did it without my knowledge. I was driving around without insurance for months before I got my new renewal. I called to ask them why my insurance statement only had my son's car listed. They found the issue and proceeded to bill me for those six months after THEY canceled it without my permission. She claimed that had I been in an accident, they would have covered it even though I wasn't actually covered. Ha! I fought it and won, didn't owe them anything because it was their fault. Greedy insurance companies are disgusting. I quit Allstate.

For those who drive very old vehicles or buy a vintage vehicle that DMV says needs thousand$ in back fees, look up (California Vehicle Code) CVC 4604(D)(3). 4604 says a "non-op IS required EXCEPT for vehicles listed below". Exempt is vehicles built before x date, low production, out of production. The clerks at DMV will tell you it needs historical plates (extra fee) in order to claim the exemption. What the code really says is that the vehicle had to "fit the discription of being old" in order to have historical plates. That same "discription" qualifies the vehicle for the exemption of the non-op and hence, no renewal penalties are due. I paid the fees and wrote a letter to DMV citing the code. I received a refund from the Franchise Tax Board some months later.

"af fah day vit". the only insurance I would change is `personal umbrella ins`If I cancel it and then buy again it lowers the premium alot but other ins anything to do with vehicle regitration, car ins I would not play with, the state I live in it can become a nightmare quickly with one wrong move.

Okay you got my attention. When you say registration your saying yearly plate tag I believe. You said $700.00 or so, I think I'm missing something because ours is $30.00 plus tax to the county you live in and $100.00 for electric cars. Anyway this is another great video Thank you for the upload.
