You dodged slowly because your equip load was too high, the stuff you have equipped on your character (weapons and armour) in sum. It doesn't have to do with specific equipment. Just make sure your equip load is on medium (bottom right corner of the equipment screen). You can de-equip your helmet or gloves or put on something lighter.

Okay if elden ring is your first souls game then listen, there's a stat called equip load, this stat start low but increases if you level up endurance, inventory has infinite storage capacity you can loot whatever you want, it doesn't count as equip load, your equipments on the other hand count as equip load, everything you can equip in this game has a weight, if the sum of all weights goes above a certain ratio with respect to equip load, you'll be fat rolling (slow roll, dodge ...)

young kid just learned how the weight works. Real note, welcome to from software games. It can make you so upset you will get a headache. You are a true master when you beat it by your self. Also Dark souls Remastered next? Breath of fresh air, then D3. When you feel have conquered this style of game -> Seikero or Demon Souls where you can get the most mad youve ever been in a single player game. Also BloodBorne i hear is the best but ive never played it.

You have to look at the weight on your equipment loadout…that’s literally all to it. It’s either light, medium or heavy. You do a quick yo heavy roll depending on how heavy all your equipped items total..

you're over encumbered look at your load weight. if you have a heavy load you will fat roll. Try to stay at least at medium. Stop deleting all your stuff you can have as much as you want Just pay attention to what you have equipped And how much it weighs

So you basically you need to have you equipped load from 30-69% of your max equipped load to roll the “mid roll”
Or bellow 30% to roll the fast roll.

I can't dodge roll, jump or run character just stumbles walks very slow at level 100 just after choosing rebirth, should I check my equipment lol, was fine up until I beat Renalla Queen?
