The fact that Spencer didn’t even consider his list of how to take care of Carly as being responsible and just saw it as the bare minimum that wasn’t a big enough deal to prove his responsibility speaks volumes towards the kind of person he is

The inhaler part always stuck with me even as a kid.

When this episode aired I was 7 years old and my asthma was very bad. So I had to take my inhaler everywhere I went.

I'm 23 now, my asthma is under much better control, but I always keep my inhaler just in case I need it.

Like Spencer said, even though Carly hadn't had an asthma attack in years, you never know.

My favorite part is the tone Spencer responds with to why he kept the inhaler, he's almost offended he has to explain to their grandfather it's for emergencies. He may be a goof ball and a child at heart, but when it comes to taking care of Carly, he never messed around.
