Now Liverpool is trying to put trent in midfield and Arteta is speaking like pep in interviews. Look at what he turned John Stones into. The manager debate BEEN over. Pep > Mourinho and Ferguson

Pep stood behind John Stones and defended him in front of the media back in 2016 at a time when the clueless media and some fans were criticizing Stones saying he was not good enough. Now, under Pep's coaching, both Pep and Stones have made the media eat their own words and not only that but Pep has made Stones extremely versatile. Stones under Pep has played as CB, RB, LB, and now in a hybrid role as the second cdm alongside Rodri. Pep is the GOAT of managers.

A Pep's masterpiece for sure. John is a great and intelligent player: he trusted his coach and is now an almost unsurpassed player in his "hybrid" role. If Busquets is mentioned, it is not by chance. I hope to see him play many games: it's a feast for the eyes.

John Stones is the perfect example of what patience and listening to your manager can result to. At some point, he received so much hate and wasn't being played as often. But not once did he complain. 😢 Kept his head down, listened to Pep and worked on improving himself. And look at him now, literally undroppable. You don’t find many players with that kind of mentality. And credit to Pep for standing up for him even when the media and some fans criticised him every waking moment. The GOAT of managers indeed. 💪🙌

Amazing to see the growth from Everton! Wow!! The way John embraced the challenge that Pep asked, is what makes it even more mind blowing, especially at this level. You can’t deny the intelligence involved in such a change💫🔥. Johnny boy, you’re a legend!!! I’m a man Utd supported by the way…

As a United fan I’m just amazed with how this team pays so much attention to the finer details off the pitch as well, they are miles apart from everyone else

Stones is the best cb in the world and it’s not even close. He’s even one of the best midfielders in the world now which is crazy and it’s not even an exaggeration

This is absolutely excellent. Some of the smartest introspection into a player and the union with his manager I've ever seen. City, this is awesome.

Well what a player John Stones is. In truth he's grown and grown while at City. I'm always so pleased for any player that keeps on learning and growing. For me that shows the quality of a person and player of the game of football.
Beating negativity is one of the mountains to climb in any walk of life. John for me has his flag up there on the summit yet he is still climbing. As our a lot of our players under the systems our Club as a whole and Pep have introduced.
And Pep what can a mere mortal say about our Pep. Such a humble guy, always full of passion for the game and willing to make people and things better. Yes, he clearly pursues perfection and he has to be called relentless in his pursuit of his goal. And then he has a sense of humour, and Manc humour come to that.
For me Pep has been one of the finest educators of the game. I'm just a simple fan, but he has taught me so so much with his pictures and patterns and designs on the pitch, and they have to be called designs, original designs really. It's football under constant evolution, constantly morphing into something slightly different and impossible to pin down for opponents.
Genius I don't know, I'll never be one, but the cap fit on Pep for me.
I think this is why we are seeing the changes squad staff this season. Yes, players move because that's important to them, but at City the design is to adapt, try new more advanced ways and method. The design is always trying to grow and move forward. The genius of the club is that it is constantly trying to evolve.
And finally lets not forget that without our wonderful owner's none of this would have manifest.
Thank you to them for where we are today as a club. As a fan I really do feel that here on earth our club is as close as it can be to football heaven.
Thanks guys.
