I liked the game concept from the first prototype you've shown on YT, and love to see it's development moving forward.

I do believe that it's a challenge to make such running game look good, work smooth and have long levels all at the same time, so great work there!

I was a bit surprised you changed the aesthetic from the goofy stickman to a more detailed, developed, cute character, but then again - there's some point when it's best to move on and that's what you did.

I love the game dynamic! Outside of the roguelike mode having levels that feel way too short it seems like a perfect concept and great execution. Can't wait for more!

I hope this game will have the ability to "map" your own maps. so people could create crazy parkours .. kinda like how trackmania has it.

and some sort of leaderboard with top times for the different maps

Hey Landfall. I love your games, especially the design, aesthetic, and style each game has. I saw comments on some other videos about how multiplayer for this game isn't really working out. However, when I look at this gameplay, I feel like I see some potential for multiplayer and co-op modes that could be fun.

The first co-op race mode would be follow the leader, where player 1 starts ahead of player 2, and they carve out a "safe zone" for player 2 to go through. Player 2 has to follow Player 1's line or they both take damage/slow down/fail (Depends on level length and how it would work). Going through special hoops could swap Player 1 and 2, letting Player 2 lead for some of the level too.

Another co-op race mode could give turning to player 1, and jumping/dashing to player 2. Hoops can swap the controls as well.

For multiplayer, I think you could design something similar to Tribes: Ascend. It's a mix of Quake and Tiny Wings, believe it or not. There's a lot of jumping and sliding around on big hilly maps. Capture the flag was most prevalent, where dashing for the flag and bringing it back while everyone chases you down was exhilarating. I can only imagine it in this game.
