A year ago I quit my job as a teacher in the NYC Dept of Education.
It’s been quite a year—and God has been FAITHFUL. I will be diligent in keeping you updated, but please keep me in prayer.
I am grateful for this process that I can share with everyone and encourage those who are completely lost or struggling with finding purpose with regards to their path.
Remember that God has you memorized past and future—just hold on.

Dade! I haven’t spoken to you in a while. But I’m in awe at this video. Apparently we’re on similar paths. I too quit my teaching job August 2019, a job I adored, following a calling I was hearing from God. I had no idea where the path would take me. It has been crazy but also exciting. I have learned so many valuable lessons. There is just entirely too much to say about it, as you could imagine. We should definitely catch up soon. Thank you for sharing your experience.

Nigerian American and from NYC? Same here. I came across your video because I wanted to pursue teaching. Good luck on your new pursuits.

You are so beautiful inside and out! I love your passion and your love for God! This really inspired me this morning, I am a teacher and I love your quote that teaching is the gift and not just the profession. I am encouraged!

Can you please clarify what you meant when you said "high paying" job? - Thanks!
