In this video I go over all of the steps that I took to go from a dull single vanity to our new double vanity. The best part about this install is that we didn't have to cut the wall or floor to add the plumbing for another sink! This video will show you how to modify a new vanity so that your main plumbing can stay in tack while still providing a professional looking install. I can't believe that this is the exact vanity that I am having someone install and the same plumbing set up. I was concerned that the person installing the vanity would have to cut into my wall, which my husband just finished putting up new drywall and shiplap paneling at the bottom. Watching this installation really helped me to visualize what needed to be done for the install and calmed my anxiety. Thank you so much!😀

That was excellent! You simplified it and that's what so will have my handyman do.

Electric box needs to be 3 feet minimum away from any tub or shower there call zones. If you put the outlet on the other side of the vanity you would be fine. You did a great job. I think now they want the ventless system above water line now in case you have a back up in the system. I used the one that looks like a air vent so the studor valve can hide in there and I think its easier because if you ever need to change the vent its super easy. I install the studor vent high above the sink in the wall more near the ceiling. The vent box is paintable so you know.

this is good information but your situation is probably very different from most. Most people have plumbing behind the wall not the way you have yours. you have several options.

Was water pressure affected by the value when running both sinks at the same time?

Thank you for your video! We are doing this to our bathroom now. Any issues with the plumbing? We had a contractor come out saying we would need to open up the floor and the wall to change the plumbing to a from a single to a double, but are looking into doing what you did ourselves. Any tips?

Is there a code on using 1 studor vent for 2 traps? I'm looking to do the same but my sinks are over 3" apart and I can't find anything other than the DFUs that the vent is rated for

I thought that each sink needed its own vent... with the vent being at least as high as the highest water level. I don't see any vent at all in this installation.

Do each sink has hot and cold? And is the water pressure stronger on one side than the other?

I've seen this video several times. I just don't understand why he is gluing and cutting PVC on top of the vanity. Those sinks cost around 1k. Should be clean when doing those projects. A towel or moving blanket to cover the sink.
