Lock our arms and hands in propoer impact position and learn to swing with your torso only...thats the drill that changed the game for me

it's such an odd feeling first time learning to hit an iron just doesn't make sense until you flush one then you get a light bulb

Nice - any advice for a strong left hand grip?.

My left wrist is somewhat cupped in backswing.

To get it ‘flatter’ in downswing ‘feels’ like clubface gets super closed. So any slight release at impact results in pull hook.

However when I concentrate on getting lower in downswing and ‘holding it off’ I hit it pure and have hit some of the best flighted wedges I’ve ever hit…

Translating to driver is hard (scared of big pull hook).

Something I've recently realized and worked on very hard is that all the good backswings and downswings you can do are basically worthless if you can't get your wrists to do the right little moves through the ball. I've had a realization that the difference between great golfers and good golfers is how accurately they can control those wrist motions instinctively through late downswing, impact, and early followthrough.

There's a very subtle but key movement happening here. That is the bowing of the left (lead) wrist for great club face control. 👏 That's something I still need to learn to incorporate in my swing.

I hope there is a part 2 for turning over the hands.

What nobody seems to tell, but is key is bowing the left wrist to start the downswing shallows the club

I started golfing about a month ago, I could hit irons from day one but I haven’t been able to hit my driver consistently. When I hit it pure it’s 310 carry, but more often than not I’m taking an iron divot with my driver and hitting 150 left. Any advice?

Wish I had a little golfing elf to help me get my swing into place

What’s the advantage in flattening out? Just drop it down and hold the lag until the wrists naturally unfold.

Nice Home Plate shape once he turned the corner. You make it look so simple and easy. Thank you Milo.

Is driver swing the same as iron swing? 🤔

There is a happy medium for everyone, different strokes for different folks. I can do this swing and it feels phenomenal but consistency is lacking. I’m personally more about less is better, 3/4 of a swing and pull harder down, follow through.

Wouldn’t this cause players to get stuck, and how do you create speed with the body? I understand the body rotation is important, but the arm quickness and speed that tour players create is incredible.

That's a good feel to learn but the left hip and knee start the down swing bud 😂😂😂Good way to make dollar!

if there ever was a video to show how to hit it a mile right

It's easy to tell a student what their body should do. The important thing I'd to tell him how to create those movements and positions.

You asked the student to (feel like) yur standing the club up on the BS. Question.... why did you ask him to do that? Padon my terminology/wording here you asking him to create a premature hinging of the wrists in the BS? Or are you doing that so he can flight the ball a certain way?
