Akrovatis

Ira Weisburd leads over 40 dances at the Oct 6, 2013 international folk dance party in Surrey, BC, Canada. The party topped off an amazing week of dance workshops in Burnaby, Surrey, Vancouver, and Abbotsford. Akrovatis, which is the Greek word for Acrobat, was choreographed by Ira Weisburd to a Cretan song.

I shared my choreography of this song (originally from Xainedes but also sang by Miltos Pashalidis and Giannis Harroulis) with Ira and he made his own variation. I usually sing it for my dancers. My original notes are available on www.livingcircle.net
