Started an Ironman a week ago so this is very nice! I want to add that the super cleaver and hyper cleaver are amazing for the stage you get them at so using them over void sword is viable.

started an ironman a while ago and decided to give tank class a go in dungeons, people really under estimate T13 perfect boots and legs, the boots are better for EHP than goldor boots(outside of F7 because wither dmg reduction). and the legs are the same as goldor for EHP(outside of F7 for same reason as boots), for chestplate you can use holy dragon or wise dragon because perfect chest is not only not that great, but is also not needed so it can be swapped for any other tank/dmg piece, early game you just cosplay as a ultra tanky mage with wise/necrotic on all your pieces, and swap a mender fedora in on boss rooms(if you even need it). The main reason though that you would go for perfect armor is that its really easy to get on ironman due to almost requiring maxed mining and is the best set you can use for tanking until 3/4 goldor. it allows you to use sheep pet on clear with wise on all your pieces so you still do solid damage for the clear while not having any chance of dying. The only nerf it has is requiring cata 21 to dungeonize which from what ive tested will be needed for F4, however it still remains by far the best tanking set for F5 and F6 and early F7 and considering that with a good HOTM 7 setup it only takes like 1-2 hours to mine out the boots and legs. Overall it is just a really cheap and powerful upgrade compared to other tanking options.

I'd say you should wait until cata 42 to start m6 as its pretty difficult before that. Also for those interested in m7, get cata 45 before trying and only play tank or healer. Please do not play any dps classes below c47.

recommended magic power for each floor would be nice to know ik its not optimal to run dungeons early but iron man is such a grind and dungeons is a fun break

as an ironman, if you can force your way through a few f7s to get goldor boots and leggings, you can buy a steel chestplate from the npc and tank m3, you only need about cata 30 to do this which is around the same as f7. in about a day i went from cata 30 to cata 35 and f7 became a hell of a lot easier

I have seen some people also mention super and hyper cleaver for early dungeons, I cannot recommend these enough, if you are unlucky like myself you may also use the giant cleaver, I find that in 1 month of progression I was able to solo F7 with giant cleaver. I mention this as 5 starring an early super cleaver is easy, all you need to do is access the dwarven mines, talk to marigold and find 1 golden goblin. If you find and kill this goblin she will give you 25 gold essence which is enough to 5 star 3 super cleavers with the 2 essence from the goblin itself making your life much easier

You can completely ignore aotd and spirit sword or whatever its called until f5. Hypercleaver is pretty much as good as aotd, almost as good as spirit sword, and giant cleaver is just better. Much cheaper to just go hypercleaver with mixed drag armor from entrance or f1 grinding, with a bonzo mask until u get to floor 5 and then grind fury and sa armor. Such a good skip that requires nothing but 2m coins and some drag armor grinding in entrance or f1
